JOHN WALLACE

John Wallace, Chief Executive Officer, has 37 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.  Mr. Wallace has owned private oil and gas companies and has been an executive officer in several public oil and gas companies.  Mr. Wallace has generated, negotiated and closed over 33 acquisitions totaling more than $1.1 billion invested capital.  Mr. Wallace was responsible for the drilling and completion of over 500 wells with a capital allocation of more than $100 million.  Mr. Wallace has supervised the construction, execution and implementation of over $125 million in pipeline and treatment facilities.
Mr. Wallace is an acquisition specialist with extensive experience as an exploitation operator and development manager.  Mr. Wallace has a comprehensive background in operations, drilling, completion practices, reserve analysis, reserve forecasting, economics and general financial analysis.  Mr. Wallace is a second-generation oil and gas executive with his father, Jim Wallace, who has experienced a very successful energy career for over 65 years.  Mr. Wallace received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, with honors, from Montana State University.  He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists.

CHRIS WEBB

Chris Webb, President, has over 30 years of professional waste stream recovery experience.  Mr. Webb founded Gold Coast Recycling as the managing partner and ultimately managed 110 employees.  Gold Coast Recycling was the first Material Recovery Facility in the state of California permitted after AB 939, a state law that required cities to recycle 25% of their waste stream. Mr. Webb negotiated the first recycling contract with the City of Ventura for $110 million dollars. To address the international market for the commodities created by Gold Coast Recycling, he founded Golden Fibers. Mr. Webb has also consulted with numerous Material Recovery Facilities across the country as an expert in facility equipment, design, management and efficiency to maximize quality and profit for his clientele. Mr. Webb is also Co-Founder of Global Alternatives LLC, a conversion technology company transforming waste to energy.
Mr. Webb’s areas of strength reside in his expert knowledge of the waste industry and his vision to see innovative and new solutions. This is further enhanced by his ability to understand the inside workings of complicated machinery and foster excellent rapport between workers and management with proven and profitable solutions.

WM. JASON EDWARDS, P.E.,

Mr. Edwards, Chief Operations Officer, 45, is a corporate development and operations executive with 21 years of private and public business experience.  11 years of Mr. Edwards’s career has been as a professional oil and gas executive.  Much of this diverse experience has been in United States and international E&P operations, managing assets and personnel. Mr. Edwards has a proven record in the evaluation and development of oil and gas assets.  He has been involved with the successful development of several companies in his career.  Most recently Mr. Edwards was a partner and founder in multiple E&P companies with divestitures and acquisitions in excess of $1.5 billion over a 5 year period. He has spent the last couple of years focused on the renewable market where he has put together several battery storage facilities across the ERCOT market in Texas. These storage facilities offer peace of mind to consumers and utility providers in the event of power outages or extreme demand periods.
Mr. Edwards has a proven record of managing risk in the operation of both oil and gas assets as well as renewable ones.  His experience has encompassed building projects as large as off-shore oil rigs and as small as telemetry and security systems at individual battery and well sites.  His projects have spanned across the globe including the majority of the oil producing states in the US.  Mr. Edwards has spent most of his career utilizing his skills to optimize the operations associated with his assets. In his projects, spanning Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Montana, Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico, to name a few, he has continually worked to produce operations that come in under budget while also providing for the safety and well-being of his team.  Having built three companies in the last 10 years with the help of his teams, Mr. Edwards, has extensive knowledge of what it takes to be successful in the energy sector. His experience in the oil and gas sector has led to a smooth transition into the renewable and sustainable space in the form of Battery Storage and waste to energy. He sees the value in all forms of energy and is dedicated to making sure that we all have access to safe, clean and efficient energy for years to come.
Mr. Edwards has a BS in Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a MS in Engineering from Texas A&M University.

ELI MUNIZ

​Eli Muniz, Director of Information Technology, is responsible for W2E operations technology solutions, security and electronic communication.  Mr. Muniz has been in the audiovisual and communications industry for the last 25 years.  Mr. Muniz is the owner of EMA Media Services, LLC and managing partner of Imagini LED Video Technologies.  Mr. Muniz specializes in system design and infrastructure of IT, surveillance, and audiovisual.  Mr. Muniz is certified in PMP, Level1 Dante & SysTune Audio Measurement.  Additionally, Mr. Muniz has worked in crypto technologies server Ai setups.

 

ROGER OLIVER

Roger Oliver, Director of Facility Construction, has been in and around construction for over 35 years.  Mr. Oliver was Vice President  of operations for a San Diego based roofing and construction company by the age of 25.  Mr. Oliver has contracted and managed projects in scope from large commercial to residential including by not limited to design-build commercial corporate headquarters, multi-family post litigation restoration, commercial retail core & shell, out of state industrial, multiple tenant improvement and a multitude of residential remodels.
Mr. Oliver is an expert in the day to day management and execution of turn-key/lump sum contracting projects from design stage to certificate of occupancy.  He possesses the ability to relate with all types of design professionals, government officials and contract labor to take a project from the conceptual to an on-time and on-budget completion

Michael Mastrodonato

Chief Legal Officer/Executive Vice President

W2E Renewable Solutions, LLC


Michael returned to the private practice of law, joining the law firm of Weinstein Randisi as of October 2021.  His practice areas are corporate transactional and elder care.


From January 2017-August 2021, Michael served as COO/Director of Special Projects to Rochester Industrial Control (RIC) a specialty manufacturer of high voltage cables, wiring harnesses, control panels and value-added assemblies, working extensively in the EV space.  RIC is located in upstate New York, in a suburb of Rochester with two campuses within close proximity, with over 50 years of experience.    Michael was an integral part of the management team for close to five years, co-managing the firm, helping develop the business plan, ISO 9001:2015 certification and business development, and legal review of contracts and negotiation.    Michael was instrumental in aiding the owners relative to the acquisition of RIC by Cerberus, which closed in August of 2021.


Prior to joining RIC, Michael served as COO/General Counsel for Coachman Energy Partners LLC out of Denver Colorado and brought over 25 years of experience as corporate legal counsel, co-managing partner, and global operations to a number of companies in both the for-profit and nonprofit arena to his position as Coachman’s COO/general counsel.  He advised executives within the company and worked alongside employees in Operations, Strategic Business Units, Marketing, Brand Communication, Sales, Human Resources, Corporate Alliances, and International Divisions.  Michael also aided with global joint ventures, strategic partnership deals, mergers, and acquisitions. Michael served in this capacity from May 2014-December 2016.


Michael served as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel for Humanitarian International Services Group (HISG). HISG is a nonprofit effort serving orphans and widows around the globe, specializing in disaster response and disaster response training, along with business development creation.  He is one of the founders of HISG and has worked with the group since September 2001. Michael was also Executive Vice President of a number of for-profit companies, helping sustain the nonprofit work of HISG. Michael served in this capacity from September 2001-December 2013.

Prior to his nonprofit work, Michael was a partner with the Law Firm of Kaman, Berlove LLP. He joined the firm in 1988 and his primary areas of practice included general corporate law, real estate, estate planning, trusts, and estates. Michael was with Kaman, Beloved from September 1988-December 2003.

A graduate of St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York, Michael received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law in Santa Clara, California.

Ryan Newburn and his firm, Newburn Law, LLC, participate as outside Corporate Counsel to W2E. He is a former executive with American Midstream Partners (NYSE: AMID) responsible for >$2 billion in midstream projects throughout Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, and the Gulf of Mexico.
Ryan is a Skadden-trained M&A and securities attorney with more than $18 billion in completed M&A transactions, has managed greater than $19 billion in completed public and private, debt and equity raises, and possesses vast experience with the full life-cycle of a company from initial fundraise through IPO and beyond.
​Ryan has a JD from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, an MBA from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, BA’s in Economics and Philosophy, and a BS in Agriculture and Resource Economics from the University of Arizona.

Dr. Daren Daugaard, Thermal-Reactor Consultant

Dr. Daren Daugaard is a full-time consultant to W2E.  He engineered, built and acquired patents for the Thermal-Reactor and Fuel Conversion Units for COOL Planet of Greenwood Village, Colorado.  Dr. Daugaard has 18 years of experience in the waste to energy field and has 15 years of experience in Thermal-Reactor design and construction.  Mr. Daugaard holds a Ph.D., in Mechanical Engineering with a Chemical Engineering emphasis and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Dr. Greg Kishiyama, Chemical & Process Engineering Consultant

Dr. Kishiyama is a Certified Project Management Professional with Program Level experience as a Principal Process Engineering Lead executing Capital Projects for Oil & Gas, Mining, and Water Treatment industries.  Greg's experience includes process debottlenecking, expansion, process improvement, environmental compliance and implementation of new technology.  Dr. Kishiyama has utilized his leadership skills and experience to manage multi‑discipline, cross functional teams in project management into new industries and innovative challenges. Greg holds a Ph.D., Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining/Minor in Geochemistry and a B.S., Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining. ITIL Foundation Certified.
